    These costumes are FABULOUS!!! Where do they get all the materials to make them? But most important, are YOU in the parade? The photographs are so beautiful-thank you for sending Island spirit😎🌵😎!!

      It’s hard to put the camera down and participate, but maybe next year. It is NOT as easy at it appears. You have to walk and dance in heels and heavy sequin costumes in the blazing heat for five hours. And there are a series of parades during Carnaval seasons, so you have to do all of the above several times before the final parade on Sunday. But, yes, I should do it before I leave here. Next year is year number 65! Some groups are already maxed out. May have to stay a fifth year in order to participate for the 66th Carnaval. 🙂
